Environment & Technology
Growing Ideas has developed an enviable reputation for the delivery of creative and effective educational projects with an environmental focus as well as the development of a range of innovative, technology-based learning activities.
Whether it’s a series of hands-on sessions based around the use of digital dataloggers or a day of activities focused on the design and development of solar powered vehicles we offer it all. The planning, the delivery as well as the supply of all the hardware and expertise required for successful sessions are all taken care of when you use Growing Ideas. Public sector and corporate clients make use of the expertise of Growing Ideas to deliver their messages. We have a number of activities which cover, among others:
- Solar power
- Wind power
- Renewable energy
- Minibeast safari
- Wetlands – particularly wetland birds, insects and plants
- Forest ecology
- Beach investigations
We run a number of these sessions in partnership with Robin Hill Adventure Park and Gardens on the Isle of Wight. Click here for details of these term-time activities for schools and corporate clients. Our ongoing summer collaboration with Robin Hill continues with yet another set of Really Wild Fridays activities to be developed and delivered by Growing Ideas in this stunning setting during July and August. See the Robin Hill website for details and hopefully we’ll see you there this summer.
We have years of experience of information technology in both corporate and education settings and in delivering design technology and science based projects in schools. Many of the activities we offer make full use of these important elements of the curriculum.
